Real primary care that can be addressed virtually, no commute, no waiting room.

Finding a primary care doctor who you can actually trust - someone who knows your name, your history, your background, your health, and your goals- can be really hard to find. It also has become such a challenge to find one doctor you like and you get to actually keep them for many years to come. There has been such a rapid turn over of doctors specifically in primary care leaving their jobs and pursing work elsewhere that has left a lot of patients without a PCP.

Regardless of where you live in California whether it be Northern California or Southern California, you are able to see Dr. Khan every time you have a visit.

There is still a way to have an on going patient-doctor relationship delievered over video. Of course there are nuances where not every medical condition can be appropriate addressed over video and seeing care close by in person may be necessary at that point.

Telemedicine primary care is different than Telemedicine Urgent care.

Urgent care Telehealth services will handle one acute issue and address a single complaint and then tell you to follow up with a primary care doctor.

Virtual Primary care may be a good fit for:

Busy urban professionals

No more half-days lost to a 15-minute appointment. Book a video

visit during lunch or between meetings

Patients in rural or underserved areas

If the nearest primary care office is 45+ minutes away, telemedicine

eliminates the barrier entirely.

Patients managing chronic conditions

Diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders — conditions that require

regular follow-ups are ideal for virtual management.

Women navigating hormonal changes

Perimenopause, menopause PCOS, thyroid hormonal imbalances are conditions that need comprehensive care and time - I provide a safe space to discuss this and what you can do about it all from the comfort of your home.

What can Dr. Khan treat via telemedicine?

Patients are surprised by how much can be addressed in a virtual visit. These are some of the conditions and discussions I have had so far with my patients:

  1. Preventative care - I have been able to offer lifestyle counseling, health risk assessments that are individualized, and discuss ways with my patient to stay ahead of any anticipated health problems.

  2. Chronic disease management - on going management of certain conditions like PCOS, asthma, high cholesterol, pre diabetes, reflux, and hypothyroidism.

  3. Preconception counseling with women who are trying to conceive or getting ready to conceive

  4. Mental health support in anxiety, post partum depression, depression, and stress management to improve overall health

  5. Women's Hormonal Health and Menopause care - addressing symptoms and discussing all treatment options including lifestyle approaches, non hormonal therapies, and hormonal therapies for perimenopause and menopause

Many wome have gone to multiple appointments and feel like their concerns were not heard or addressed. I have heard this from so many patients. My approach is to listen first and then investigate.

Why choose Dr. Khan at Solace Primary Care.

I am aware that there is not shortage of telehealth apps and ways to get care online. What sets Solace Primary Care apart is the continuity of care and the relationship I build with my patients over time. I am not a random doctor assigned to your patient chart. I am someone who takes the time to get to know your full history, your preferences, your life context, your goals, and what is important to you.

My practice revolves around putting my patients first. I like to take my time with my patients, clearly communicate, and have a genuine investment in their long term health.
