What is Direct Primary Care?
Solace Primary Care follows a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. Instead of billing insurance for office visits, members pay a monthly fee for direct access to their physician, longer appointments, same- or next-day scheduling, and comprehensive primary care.
Do you accept insurance?
Solace Primary Care does not bill insurance for membership services. However, many patients continue to use their insurance for laboratory testing, imaging, specialist visits, medications, and hospital care. This allows us to focus on providing personalized care without the limitations of traditional insurance-based primary care.
What is included in my membership?
Your membership includes comprehensive primary care, annual wellness visits, preventive care, chronic disease management, same- or next-day appointments when available, direct access to Dr. Khan by phone, text, and secure messaging, telemedicine visits throughout California, care coordination, and more. You’ll have a physician who knows your health history and is available when you need guidance.
Can I schedule a meet-and-greet before joining?
Yes. We offer a complimentary meet-and-greet so you can learn about the practice, ask questions, and decide whether our membership model is the right fit for you before enrolling.
Do you care for children and families?
Yes. As a board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Khan cares for children, adults, and older adults. Whether you need preventive care, treatment for acute illnesses, chronic disease management, or women’s health services, Solace Primary Care is designed to care for individuals and families through every stage of life.
