1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs use of the website located at https://www.solaceprimarycare.com and any related online services, forms, or patient-facing tools (collectively, the "Site") provided by Solace Primary Care Medical, Inc. ("Solace Primary Care," "we," "us," or "our"). It is designed to protect our practice, our patients, and the general public from unethical, irresponsible, or illegal activity conducted through the Site.

Anyone found engaging in activities prohibited by this Policy may have their access to the Site suspended or terminated. In serious cases, we may be legally obligated to report such activity to the relevant authorities.

2. Fair and Intended Use

The Site is provided for individuals seeking information about Solace Primary Care, our services, and our Direct Primary Care membership, and for current patients using any designated patient-facing tools. We expect the Site to be used consistently with that purpose. We oppose all forms of abuse, discrimination, harassment, and rights infringement, and we expect anyone using the Site to engage with it in the same spirit.

3. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for your own use of the Site and for the actions of anyone using the Site through your account or credentials — including as a result of your failure to keep login information secure (for example, patient portal credentials, if applicable). If we receive a complaint about activity connected to your use of the Site, we may forward relevant details to you and take action as described below.

If you, or anyone using the Site through you, violate this Policy, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site or any related account, or to take other remedial action we deem appropriate, without notice.

4. Prohibited Activity

4.1 Unlawful, Infringing, or Harmful Material

The Site must not be used to transmit, submit, or store any material that:

  • infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right;

  • is obscene, defamatory, or constitutes an unlawful threat;

  • violates any applicable law, including export control laws; or

  • depicts or threatens violence, child exploitation, or anyone's health or safety.

You are solely responsible for any content you submit through the Site (including via contact or intake forms) and for having the right to submit it.

4.2 Spam and Unauthorized Messaging

The Site's contact forms, intake forms, and any messaging features must not be used to send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages, to harvest contact information for marketing lists, or to subscribe others to any mailing list without their consent. Contact and intake forms are provided for genuine inquiries about our practice and services only.

4.3 Unauthorized Access and Malicious Activity

The Site must not be used to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data, including patient records or the accounts of other patients ("hacking");

  • introduce viruses, malware, or other malicious code;

  • interfere with, disrupt, or overburden the Site or the networks connected to it, including through denial-of-service attacks, scraping, or automated data harvesting; or

  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or any related system without our prior written authorization.

4.4 Harassment and Discrimination

The Site must not be used to harass, threaten, or discriminate against any person or group, including through hate speech or content advocating intolerance based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

4.5 Misuse of Health Information

The Site and any patient-facing tools must not be used to access, alter, or attempt to obtain another person's health or personal information without authorization, or to misrepresent your identity in order to obtain services, records, or information belonging to another patient. Use of the Site must be consistent with our Notice of Privacy Practices and Privacy Policy.

4.6 Impersonation and Misuse of Our Name

No one may impersonate Solace Primary Care or Dr. Khan, misrepresent an affiliation with our practice, or use our name, logo, or other marks to fraudulently obtain trust, patronage, or services.

4.7 Other Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Site to:

  • obtain or attempt to obtain services from us through fraud or with the intent to avoid payment;

  • interfere with other visitors' or patients' use of the Site; or

  • violate any applicable consumer protection law or another person's privacy.

5. Reporting Concerns

If you believe someone is misusing the Site in violation of this Policy, please contact us at (949) 785-5644.
