WHY THIS LOOKS DIFFERENT HERE
Why this looks different here
-
Your screening plan is built on your risk. Family history, hormones, labs, and lifestyle shape what we screen for and when — a plan designed around you, decades before problems announce themselves.
-
We calculate your lifetime breast cancer risk. Using validated risk models, we go beyond the annual mammogram question — women at elevated lifetime risk qualify for earlier and supplemental screening, and most have never had the calculation done.
-
Heart risk gets measured, not guessed. A coronary calcium score shows the plaque that's already there. Advanced lipid testing — ApoB, Lp(a), hs-CRP — reveals the risk a standard cholesterol panel misses.
-
Bone health starts before the standard timeline. Bone loss accelerates through perimenopause, years before most women are offered a DEXA scan. When your risk warrants it, we screen early — while there's still time to change the curve.
-
Every result is explained. Visits are long enough to walk through what your numbers mean for you, and your plan adjusts as your body changes.

Prevention that's actually personal
Most preventive care happens on a schedule built for the average patient - not for you. Your family history, your risk factors, and your own sense that something's worth checking deserve more than a generic checklist.
At Solace, prevention starts with a real conversation about your history, followed by the specific screenings that make sense for you - not just the ones a standard visit has time for.
Chronic Disease Support
Steady, supportive guidance for diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol concerns, and other long-term conditions. We help you understand your numbers, create realistic plans, and feel confident, not overwhelmed, in managing your health.

Comprehensive care for every part of the postpartum experience

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women, and it's still under-screened and frequently misread. We look at your personal and family cardiac history, blood pressure trends over time, lipid and metabolic markers, and advanced testing like ApoB, Lp(a), or a coronary calcium score to get a clearer picture than a standard panel provides.
Knowing your actual risk - not just your age - is the starting point. We calculate your lifetime breast cancer risk using your personal and family history, perform clinical breast exams as part of your regular care, and make sure your mammogram timeline fits your real risk profile rather than a one-size-fits-all schedule.
For most women at average risk, that means mammograms starting at 40 and clinical breast exams as part of regular visits before then. If your calculated lifetime risk is elevated, we'll talk through what additional or earlier screening looks like - and coordinate it directly.
Blood sugar, thyroid function, iron and nutrient levels, and the labs that often get skipped until something feels wrong. These are reviewed as part of your regular visits, not held back until you ask.
