Meet Dr. Shehzein Khan
I became a physician because I believe people deserve to feel truly seen and heard in their healthcare.
It wasn’t until I became a mother that I fully understood how much the healthcare system can fall short during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. The postpartum period is filled with profound physical, emotional, and hormonal changes, yet many women feel rushed through appointments, dismissed, or left to navigate it all on their own.
That experience deepened my commitment to the kind of care I had always believed in: care that slows down, listens carefully, and treats the whole person, not just the symptoms.
I’m a board-certified family medicine physician who has cared for patients in community health centers, busy clinical settings, and academic medical environments. Across these experiences, one lesson has become clear: when physicians are given the time to truly listen and patients are given the space to speak openly, better care naturally follows.
That belief is what led me to create Solace Primary Care.
Solace Primary Care was built to be a different kind of medical experience where visits are unhurried, questions are welcomed, and patients have direct access to their doctor when they need guidance, reassurance, or answers.
As both a physician and a mother, I understand how complex and demanding life can feel, especially during seasons of change like pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and early parenthood. My goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized care so you feel supported, informed, and confident in your health.

Solace Primary Care works through a Direct Primary Care membership. Instead of billing insurance, your monthly membership covers visits, direct access to your physician and ongoing support.

Meet Dr. Shehzein Khan
Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Shehzein Khan has cared for patients across community health centers, high-demand clinical environments, and academic medical settings, where she learned the value of slowing down and truly listening.
Early in Dr. Shehzein Khan’s career, one patient encounter cemented what would become her standard of care. Nothing about the visit seemed obvious on the surface, but she took her time, asked thoughtful follow-up questions, and paid close attention to small changes that others might overlook. That careful approach led to a serious issue being caught far earlier than expected and it stayed with her. It’s a reminder she carries into every visit: when care is unhurried and attentive, it can make all the difference.
She is the founder of Solace Primary Care, a space where she can care for her patients with the consistency, compassion, and attentiveness they deserve. Over the years, she has helped young women with PCOS regulate their symptoms, adults gain control of diabetes, supported older adults through complex chronic conditions, and guided patients through profound grief and emotional healing.
