How to Prepare for a Direct Primary Care Meet-and-Greet

Choosing a primary care practice is a personal decision. A meet-and-greet gives you a chance to ask questions and see whether the practice’s approach fits what you are looking for.

Questions about the model

Ask what the membership includes, what is outside the membership, how communication works, how visits are scheduled, and how urgent concerns are handled.

Questions about costs

Ask about membership pricing, lab and imaging arrangements, medication assistance, and any additional charges. Transparent expectations matter.

Questions about the relationship

Think about whether you want longer visits, continuity with one physician, preventive planning, and a more direct way to communicate with your care team.

Book a complimentary meeting with Dr. Khan to talk through your questions and your health goals. This article is for general education and does not replace personalized medical advice.
